My art searches for raw unrefined qualities in sound, reaching for folkloric origins in the music allowing individuals to find artistic identity in where the sounds come from. The eclectic world of music from every corner of the earth has a profound impact on my work, looking for cultural intent and hoping to access that idea in a new way from my own life experiences. I write music that elicits an experience of wonder, discovery and expansion beyond what we might understand or appreciate, pushing us to connect with others outside our own life experiences.
